Heres a video with some of the Swamp Fever campaign. Theres another video at the bottom... It shows the new spitter SI, and if you look closely at the HUD, it looks like a syringe is used instead of pills.

I actually suggested something really similar on the Steam forums. It looks like my idea got into the game....Woo, go me!
